Since I am a Reiki Master, I can perform distance Reiki. There is no reason why healing cannot be accomplished as effectively over a long distance as in person - Prayer is the simplest and most effective example of sending energy through the etheric field - It is not diminished by distance. A healer can sense the energetic field of the person requiring healing and can send them healing energy even though they are not in the same location as that person. As physics explores deeper layers of the structure of creation, phenomena are less and less localized and some physicists describe a "non-local" unified field to which we all belong.
