I am a Certified Massage Therapist and specialize in Swedish massage. Swedish massage is characterized by long, nurturing, flowing strokes and the objective of my sessions is for my client to leave feeling both deeply relaxed and invigorated. I make use of high quality aromatherapy oils therapeutically as these add not only an element of beauty and enhance relaxation but are also deeply effective in releasing tight muscles and tendons. The oils are further aided by the addition of hot towels on the neck and back - the warmth of the towels helps the oils to be absorbed by the body and feels both nurturing and comforting. I also use smooth river stones which are warmed to a comfortable temperature and incorporated into the massage for a Hot Stone Massage.
